• He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Rome (La Sapienza) with a Master of Science in Nuclear Medicine from the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, University of London and a PhD from the University of Athens
  
• Specialist training in the Radiology Department of Hammersmith Hospital, London (from September 1986 to September 1989)
  
• From 1990 to date: HYGEIA Hospital, General Radiology - Ultrasound. From 1999 to date: Director of the Department of Ultrasound of HYGEIA
  
• From 2011 to date: Director of the Ultrasound Department of MITERA Hospital
  
• From 2001 to 2014: Chairman of the Health Information Committee of HYGEIA Hospital
